For example, if your drawing measurement is given as 24ft and you want to print to scale 1/4in = 1ft, the out put will be 6in.  The scale you should enter is 6in/(24ftx12)in = .020833.  Another example, if the screen measurement is given as 24ft and you want it to be printed on 8.5in wide paper, then you should enter the scale as 8.5in/(24ftx12)in=0.2951389.
